Customer Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

1. Purpose

The purpose of this Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) is to ensure that all customers use Quantum Edge DAO’s internet, phone, and digital services in a lawful, ethical, and responsible manner. By using our services, customers agree to comply with this policy and all applicable laws and regulations.

2. Scope

This policy applies to all individuals or entities using Quantum Edge DAO’s services, including but not limited to internet, phone, and other digital products.

3. Prohibited Uses

Customers are prohibited from using Quantum Edge DAO’s services for any of the following activities:

• Illegal Activity:
  Engaging in any activity that violates local, state, national, or international laws. This includes, but is not limited to, illegal downloading or sharing of copyrighted material, harassment, fraud, or any other illegal activities.

• Harmful Content and Activities:
  Distributing, uploading, or accessing any material that is illegal, harmful, or otherwise inappropriate, including but not limited to:

  • Child exploitation or pornography

  • Hate speech or content promoting violence

  • Content that promotes unlawful or harmful activities

• Security Violations:
  Attempting to bypass or breach any security measures on our network, or any system connected to the internet. Customers must not engage in:

  • Hacking or unauthorized access to systems, data, or networks

  • Spreading viruses, malware, or other harmful software

  • Interfering with the services of other users

• Spam and Phishing:
  Using our services to send unsolicited bulk messages (spam) or to engage in phishing or other fraudulent schemes. Customers must refrain from:

  • Sending mass unsolicited emails or advertisements

  • Distributing deceptive or fraudulent information to obtain sensitive data (e.g., passwords, credit card information)

• Reselling or Sharing Services:
  Reselling, redistributing, or sharing Quantum Edge DAO’s services without explicit permission. This includes using personal or business services for unauthorized commercial use, such as offering internet access to third parties.

4. Network and System Integrity

Customers must not interfere with the performance, functionality, or integrity of Quantum Edge DAO’s services or any third-party systems. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Excessive Bandwidth Usage:
  Customers are prohibited from consuming excessive network resources that may degrade service quality for other customers.

• Disruptive Behavior:
  Engaging in activities that may disrupt the services for other users, such as launching Denial-of-Service (DoS) attacks or overloading systems.

5. Privacy and Data Protection

Quantum Edge DAO respects customer privacy and is committed to protecting personal information. Customers, in turn, must:

• Protect Personal Information:
  Avoid sharing sensitive personal data while using our services, especially over unsecured networks. We recommend using secure, encrypted connections (such as VPNs) whenever possible.

• Abide by Privacy Laws:
  Comply with all applicable data privacy laws, such as GDPR or CCPA, if handling third-party data.

6. Fair Usage

Quantum Edge DAO offers its services under a fair usage policy to ensure that all customers can enjoy reliable service. We reserve the right to impose usage limits or take corrective actions (e.g., throttling, suspension) if a customer’s usage disproportionately affects the network's quality or availability.

7. Monitoring and Compliance

Quantum Edge DAO reserves the right to monitor network traffic and customer activity to ensure compliance with this AUP. We may take the following actions to enforce the policy:

• Warnings and Notifications:
  If a customer’s use of our services violates this policy, we may issue a warning and ask the customer to correct the issue.

• Service Suspension or Termination:
  Repeated or severe violations may result in service suspension or termination without prior notice. Legal action may also be pursued where applicable.

8. Reporting Violations

Customers are encouraged to report any violations of this AUP to Quantum Edge DAO’s support team. Reports of illegal activities will be forwarded to appropriate law enforcement authorities.

9. Amendments

Quantum Edge DAO reserves the right to modify this AUP at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services following an update constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
